She left the television series 7th Heaven after performing in the sixth season. In the movie Ulee's Gold, she gained immediate recognition for her outstanding acting. In fact, this movie earned her the award for Best Supporting New Actress. Summer Catch is a great demonstration of her ability. Her production Rules of Attraction did not have much success despite her outstanding performance.
